The Last Lunch

Prior to the last dinner on 04/09/2009, we (myself, Angela, Carol, Goh) went to Times Square for Subway lunch. As usual, we took monorail there (fastest way).

Once we reached, I suggested to head straight to Subway for lunch before proceeding to whatever-plans-they-have. Angela suggested to get the XXL Chicken to go along with our sandwiches. I'm not particular sure the name of the restaurant but it's located at the same floor as the cinema.

It was just a simple lunch outing but I enjoyed it a lot. This is gonna be one of the things that I'm gonna miss most :)

The Last Dinner

Last Friday (04/09/2009) was my curtain closure in BSMART Technology. Well, I've to admit I felt quite emotional upon leaving the company but it was a decision that I've made for my own good and I'm gonna look at it as an escape? LOL.

It was really a tiring day and night. It has been pretty eventful too.

Thank you so much to the Sports Club committee. Although it's about the break-fast gathering, it was also dedicated to my farewell, I'm grateful for that :)

Make sure give me a call whenever you guys play futsal or have any other activities. Would like to catch up once in a while ;)

New Leaf

Where do I start?? Right, I'm now in my second day of my new job in Macro Kiosk Berhad.

On my first day, I was invited to a welcome lunch, sponsored by MK at Raku Zen in Chulan Square. After lunch, I was brought around the office to be introduced to everyone. And now, I can only memorized less than 5 person's names :p

Currently, I'm being seated at a temporary cubical in Technology Department until there's a vacancy in the Corporate Office.

So far, I've attended a lot of briefing about the products overview and functionality, conducted by my superior, Elaine. And yes, there are a lot of catching up to do as the used A LOT of abbreviation during the WIP (Work In Progress) meeting that we had earlier. I had a hard time understanding them, which led to me being sleeping most of the time, LOL. I couldn't help it!

Elaine told me I'll be handling internal projects first, liaising with out Thai regional office and also locally. I'm just eager to kick start my new portfolio :) However, I have to do some read ups to familiarize with the documentations, specifications and other necessities.

Once I got home, I only thought of going to bed. Perhaps my mind has not been exercised for quite some time now - wonder who to blame :p

And I just love that people here are more vibrant and the energy is always on the rise. It's not as quiet as my former, they communicate a lot, chit chat and update each other a lot on their work. Love the spirit! :D

I'll talk more about my work here. At the moment, I've few read ups to do and many things to take note of :)
